After 27 years writing software in telecommunications and utilities, I made the switch to teaching in 2022. I get to share what actually works with students at CSU Stanislaus and honestly, it's the best career move I've ever made.
I spent 27 years solving real problems in telecommunications and utilities and I did it here, in the Central Valley, where I've lived and worked since I was 18. The people who built Modesto Junior College, CSU Stanislaus, Turlock Irrigation District, and this community didn't do it for recognition. They did it because they believed in something worth building. I've been a direct beneficiary of that work my entire adult life. This is my way of paying it forward.
